Orthopedic Surgery

The Deer Park Animal Hospital is fully equipped to perform most common orthopedic procedures including fracture repairs, joint surgery, bone biopsies, etc. Our doctors have over 25 years of experience successfully repairing torn anterior cruciate ligaments, the most common knee injury in small animals, as well as medical patella luxations ("trick knees"), and getting our patients back to full function.

As with our soft tissue surgeries, pain management is an integral part of the pre, intra and post-operative periods. Most of our orthopedic patients walk out of our hospital the day after surgery.
