
Native to Michigan, Dr. Lori Goeders attended Michigan State University where she received a B.S. Degree in Animal Science and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1982. An honors student at Michigan State, Dr. Goeders was inducted into Phi Zeta, the veterinary honors society, and was chosen to receive the AAHA award for the best student in small animal medicine.
Dr. Goeders moved to Manhattan in 1982 to pursue an internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center. She completed a residency in internal medicine in 1985 and continued practicing in the New York area until 1987.
Dr. Goeders is a Diplomate of American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, board-certified in internal medicine. In addition to practicing at Deer Park Animal Hospital, Dr. Goeders is a medical consultant for a national diagnostic lab where she provides diagnostic and therapeutic advice to other veterinarians from around the country.
Despite her busy schedule, Dr. Goeders enjoys speaking at local schools and is active in her local PTA . Her interests include tennis, skiing. cooking, reading. and spending time with her family. She is married to Dr. Rosen, a doctor at Deer Park Animal Hospital, and has 2 daughters. They also enjoy the companionship of 2 terrific black Labs, Riffle and Winnie.
